How do I find out if my paper is in scope for publication in a SAG Publishing journal?
To establish whether your paper is suitable for the SAG journals, go to the website of the journal concerned, and then click on the "Information" button to display the scope of the journal.
How do I submit my paper to a SAG journal?
All papers must be submitted through our online submission system, in which the status of each paper can be easily tracked. New users will need to create an account with a username and password in order to submit. Each article should be one MS Word document with all figures and tables included in the same file.
Is there a word or page limit for papers published in a SAG journal?
Quality is the most important criteria for the acceptance of a paper. However, for the benefit of our peer-reviewers and readers, papers should be as concise as possible. The majority of our papers run to about 15 to 20 pages.
Is it essential to recommend guest reviewers for my paper?
Recommending guest reviewers can help improve the review process and publication efficiency of your paper. However, if you don’t have any candidates, we will help you find good reviewers.
Can I publish a review or survey paper in SAG?
Yes, there are no restrictions on the type of paper that may be published within SAG.
How do I know if my submission to SAG went well?
You will receive an automatic confirmation e-mail as soon as you have uploaded the paper successfully. Your paper will then be checked and forwarded to the editors who will start the preliminary review. If there are any problems with your uploaded manuscript you will be contacted by the editors.
Do I need to submit a cover letter with manuscript?
Yes, a cover letter should be sent to us through email with your revised paper.
Article processing charges
Is there any publication fee charged for papers published in a SAG journal?
Yes. We require the publication fee to be paid upon acceptance of an article for publication.
How do I pay the article processing charges to a SAG journal?
You can make an APC payment via 2checkout, Paypal, bank transfer, credit card or Western Union. You can also ask the editorial assistant if you have any payment issues or problems.
How do I find out if my article processing charges have been safely received by SAG journal?
Please notify and send your payment voucher or receipt via email to the editorial assistant after your payment. The editorial assistant will email you a confirmation letter after receiving the payment.
Peer review process
How long will it take to peer review my paper?
It usually takes about two to four weeks. Please contact the editorial assistant if you want to know the status of your paper.
How long will it take for my paper to be available online after the acceptance?
We will try to publish your paper as early as possible but the time between the acceptance and the creation of the full text version depends on how quickly you provide us with the final version of your paper. Normally, it will appear online around two weeks after all the publication procedures are completed.
Do SAG journals have Impact Factors and are their citations tracked?
Many of our journals are currently under evaluation for Impact Factors tracking by Thomson Reuters (ISI) and Scopus. Our journals have also been indexed by some other data bases. Please check each journal’s ’Indexed/abstracted in’ page.
